Joel digs the music scene. Not as often as he'd like because these bands, being so immensely hip, play in places that are way too cool for Joel. Plus a lot of times they play when it's past his bedtime.
Here are his favorites:
Willy Porter--amazing guitar virtuoso, amazing songwriter, amazing singer, amazing performer...on second thought, maybe I'm too jealous to like him anymore.
5 Card Studs--the best damn Vegas Show in Milwaukee. This one's for the ladies, but guys dig 'em too!

Frogwater--acoustic bliss
Mrs. Fun--the name says it all. Except that they play the wildest electra-acid jazz ever.
Inda Eaton--singer/songwriter extraordinaire
Chick Singer Night--just let me know if you're having trouble understanding one of those words
Stephen Lynch--this guys is seriously messed up. Makes South Park look like Barney. You'll laugh so hard and then you'll hate yourself in the morning.
Mr. Lucky Swing Syndicate for a swingin' good time!
Pat McCurdy--if you don't know who he is, you gotta get out more. He's like that guy in your frat who was a Philosophy major who somehow snagged really good grades but always seemed to be totally wasted just sittin' on the couch playin' his guitar and makin' you laugh so hard you spit your beer thru your nose.
